hi there--well i was not such a good traveler this time around--i was awake the whole plane ride, did some serious screaming and had 2 poopy diapers on the flight...and then mom had the audacity to stick me in a car and drive me to columbus ohio, 2 hours away...it was a long trip--but we made it, safely. moms training was good and i got to spend some quality time with gramb and grampc walking around the convention center. then we came back and grama and granpaw came to visit, and we had such a nice time. we played in the grass, i had a little allergy maybe, but still loved it. i also got to see my great aunt sue, great aunt ruth, great uncle jim, greatn anut linda and great uncle dave and my mom's cousin jodi and her husband ryn and my third cousin jack. we wish them the best with their new bay girl coming to the world this sat. it was fun. aunt sue brought over a little rocking chair that was my great granpa ellis', and i am infatuated with it. i am still loving the vaccum, calling for it all the time and now i also say thank you--mom has not really heard it, but gramb and grampc have...anyhow--gotta get on teh road back to columbus, love to all.

papa turned 33 today

we have not posted in a while cause mama and i caught a stomach virus. it started with me on late wed night, i slept thru my midnight feeding, so when i woke up at 4 and mama came in to pick me up, she was in fora big surprise, i probably had ben vomiting all night, it was everywhere--she felt terrible and her and papa were so very relieved that i sleep on my belly and did not choke on it. so it was a day or so of vomiting and then mostly diareha, but i could not eat really, so today was the first time i really started to eat again, and well, i still got diareha, hopefully it has run its course and is almost over. for mama it was 48 hours of he*l, she slept on the bathroom floor on friday night. but we are all on the mend now, enough so that mama can type this. the bad thing was we ruined papa's birthday. he and mama had these grand plans to go out to a nice dinner with their good friends eliz and doug on sat night and then go see michael franti and then papa was gonna go skiing with all his buddies today...and it was all ruined. mama even felt so bad that for the first time in 5 years she did not make papa an apple pie for his b-day...but she will tomorrow hopefully. so, anyhow, we are on the mend. despite my feeling so bad, i still managed to learn how to crawl. i just woke up one morning and put it all together. mama was in the kitchen making cofee and looked over and i was just crawling across the floor...so she ran and grabbed the cameras and took video so everyone could see me in my moment of glory. well, gotta run all, much love.

hi everybody...sorry mom has not written in so long, it has been kinda crazy--i ended up getting an ear infection and some gargantuaon top teeth, so there have been many sleepless nights...and then on sunday mom and dad took me to urgent care (yes, that makes 3 visits to the dr in one week--first last sat to urgent care for the ear infection, then thurs for the well baby checkup--where i weighed in at nearly 20lbs and was 30 inches tall!! and then on sunday for....) well, ends up i was allergic to the amoxiciilin they gave me for the ear infection--i had hives covering my whole body and was just plain fussy. i had not taken a bottle in over 3 days and was also refusing solids, so mom knew something was up. now that they got me off that terrible medicine, i am back to my old ways, chowin downon solids--and i am now eating rice crispies and cottage cheese...it is quite fun feeding myself. we are sad that gamma and granpaw left, we had such a nice visit, they were very patient with me as i did not feel too good when they were here. and we got to say hello and bonvoyage to great-grams who left for the cruise of a lifetime--we are very jealous (okay, mom is very jealous0--we hope her and great aunt pam are having a wonderful and safe time. we also hope to talk to auntie emma on skype here very soon!! well all, gotta run...

So friday was a big night, mom and dad's boating buddy G stopped by for the night for a visit and Gramma and Grampaw came to see me!!! I was already in bed, so they had to wait till the next morning to get a good look at me. Of course, they probably could have come up anytime between 11pm and 4am--cause I was pretty much up crying my butt off. the baysitters kid had a cold this week and she took him to the dr friday and he had a double ear infection...at that time i did not even feel sick...but sat morning we went to urgent care and sure enough i had a bad cold and an ear infection--not to mention i got both of my top teeth in and am now working on my incisors on the bottom--lots going on here. so far it has been a great visit, we have played, not really napped much, and clapped and laughed a lot. we hope to get out for a nice walk or a hike today!

gramb left today, which makes us very sad, we had so much fun with her and she helped out sooo much. i am super squirmy, and want to try and stand all the time, either that or slither and roll...basically, just want to be on the move. here are some pics...sorry so short, but time for bed.
